"My wife and I were looking for a date night and stumbled across Five Islands Boat Tours. I decided to surprise her with a private a sunset cruise. We had the entire boat to ourselves! Upon recommendations from locals, we grabbed a bottle of Maine wine from the local Five Islands Farm, and a basket of cheese and crackers and made our way down to the dock. We were greeted by two smiling crews who were awaiting our arrival. The entire tour was based upon where my wife and I wanted to go and what we wanted to see. I could not have asked for a better date night. 10/10 recommend and will absolutely rebook in the future!" |
"Although I’ve been to Maine on multiple vacations, this was my first time getting on a lobster boat. The captain and crew were beyond welcoming and made the experience one I will never forget. If you have the chance to get down to Five Islands, I highly recommend booking a tour on the Gratitude."

"I came to Maine with my entire family (3 children under the age of 12 and my wife). My kids kept asking to see lobsters that were alive and not ready to be eaten, so after some googling I found Five Islands Boat Tours. I was hesitant to book the tour as my kids can be overly excitable and I knew the boat was on the smaller side, but I cannot say how thankful I am that I didn’t skip booking a trip. It ended up being just the 5 of us and the captains welcomed us aboard like we were family. Captain Cal and Captain Katrina happily shared their knowledge with our kids and I know it’s an experience my children will never forget. They couldn’t stop talking about being able to pet a real life lobster and seeing it “go back out to sea for a swim” after they saw it up close and personal. Our next Maine vacation will most definitely include another ride on Gratitude!"

"Me and my wife went out for a private tour on Gratitude for our anniversary. We were expecting a beautiful ride around 5 Islands but did we ever get more. Katrina and Calvin had deep knowledge of local waters and history of the area. At one point my wife was cold and Katrina had an extra blanket to keep her warm so we could continue to enjoy the ride. Already looking forward to our next trip out with the kids to go lobstering."

"We just had a wonderful and fun boat ride to Seguin Island with Cal + Katrina. They were so knowledgeable, accommodating, reassuring and pleasant. They went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed the island and lighthouse and tried so hard to keep us dry and succeeded! We definitely recommend them for any boat excursion you want!"
